It is imperative that you have the appropriate insurance cover in place to protect your investment in your ArtiCAD system. We strongly recommend that you check your current Business Insurance Policy cover without delay.
As well as insuring your hardware (your actual computer, printer etc) please ensure your software (computer program, data and other information help on your computer) is also covered by your policy. You ArtiCAD dongle (software key) and system is ‘software’ and requires insurance protection. A replacement dongle will cost you £1495 + VAT (as of September 2009) so it is important it is catered for in your business insurance.
As a guide, your ArtiCAD software needs insuring against theft, fire, water, damage from burst pipes and malicious damage.
ArtiCAD is unable to recommend a specific insurer but most internet search engines will provide reputable companies offering competitive Business Insurance. In the event of a claim, ArtiCAD will be pleased to supply a written quotation if required by your insurers.
